Anumodāna
Benediction

Ākāsaṭṭhā ca bhummaṭṭhā
May beings who dwell in space, on earth,
devā nāgā mahiddhikā
Devas and Nagas of wondrous might,
Puññaṃ taṃ anumoditvā
Rejoice now with this merit made
ciraṃ rakkhantu sāsanaṃ.
And long protect the Sasana!

Ākāsaṭṭhā ca bhummaṭṭhā
May beings who dwell in space, on earth,
devā nāgā mahiddhikā
Devas and Nagas of wondrous might,
Puññaṃ taṃ anumoditvā
Rejoice now with this merit made
ciraṃ rakkhantu desanaṃ.
And long protect the Teaching!

Ākāsaṭṭhā ca bhummaṭṭhā
May beings who dwell in space, on earth,
devā nāgā mahiddhikā
Devas and Nagas of wondrous might,
Puññaṃ taṃ anumoditvā
Rejoice now with this merit made
ciraṃ rakkhantu maṃ paran"ti.
And long protect me and others!
